Highway Deaths at Their Lowest Level Since 1925

    I guess there goes the argument that raising the artificially low speed limits would cause more deaths huh. Funny when the commy feds allowed each state to raise the limit from 55 to whatever they felt was safe, since then the traffic fatality rate has fallen like a rock.

    Does anyone smell insurance lobbyists at work here?

    I believe the parts of the German Autobahn without any speed limits have even lower fatality rates than most U.S. Highways.

    Better driver education and a higher age to start driving might also help those numbers.
