Moving To San Diego? - TalkStates

I decided to move to San Diego after i finish my second year at OSU so i may transfer to San Diego State University afterwards. Can somebody tell me how much money i should save for when i transfer and what are some good and bad things about San Diego?

san diego is filled with great things, we have beautiful weather, great beaches, great museums, nice shopping. The only bad thing about living here is that the cost of living is expensive. But, its expensive to live in any city in the us.

Good= best weather, zoo,wild animal part,sea world, great night life, sports, etc..
Bad= costly..rent $1000 a month, small place
food...high
utilities..high
you will need about $4000 in a savings account to get started, and you had better find a job before arriving.
you will love the city though..I grew up there and miss it a lot, live in the desert southwest now
