I know it's old news, but I just heard a report again about it on the news here. It's not going to solve all Californias problems, but it's a start. Imagine if everywhere took that stance. Last week there was a deadly shooting in my hood, the week before there was a very daring day light gangster execution of a young Turkish guy at traffic lights.....it's all tit for tat and I thinking legalizing and taxing drugs would solve a hell lot more than what the DEA have being trying to do since it's inception.

Makes sense....it is run as a business...a legal business and like all businesses there are taxes to pay.
Now if Neveda was doing poorly do you think they should tax hookers?

They tax the brothels don't they? (not sure). I know that some High dollar girls pay tax's as a way to get the IRS off their backs, I mean they gotta explain how they afford the homes they buy etc and the "I've got a rich boyfriend story" get's a little old. They just put their occupation down as "entertainers" or sommat like that.

There were some 'caught on video' incidents where Acorn suggested a way around that.

Those dumb asses at Acorn had it comming, Seriously a white dude all dressed in a pimp out fit and all the questions they were asking....shoulda ring bells. In any case it happens every day with mortgage brokers, I mean do you know how many people go to them for a loan without any "evidence" of legitimate earnings? There are so many ways around it.

It's too soon to legalize pot. There's not enough science in place yet. What I mean by that is that right now, alcohol is legal and if you drink some and then drive impaired, they have a method of measuring to see just how impaired you are. Or at least a standard.

But they don't have that with post. The only thing they can do is a urine or blood test and then they can just detect the presents. Not a reliable method of just "How impaired you are".

Now, if they could get that in place, they just might have something worthy of pushing the pot bill through. By the way, this is like the 8th or 9th time it's been pushed and it's been before the state 3 or 4 times. Always shot down for the reasons I stated above. No measurement abilities.

If these people were smart, they'd get their ducks in a row before pushing it. Then they would have something to argue with.
