Since this is a realtively new website, we should all discuss ideas on how to make it better and how to make it grow. The one thing this site needs is more people. We need to help out in bringing people over here. Please do search engine searches for websites that discuss relocation and that "other website" and post there to check this site out. "That other site" is also anti-realtor. We should browse the 1000's of real estate forums and invite them here. Many sites are open to allowing you to post a web link. If there was an "Ask a Realtor" section, they could answer questions, or post listings for sale, etc. Nothing like free enterprise to make something grow. Any other ideas?

We need to post information about jobs, education, crime statistics, healthy living,education..mainly things that people research before relocating. I also think talking about more topics like current events and parenting would work.

Also inviting your friends to sign up here would work. I've already got like 3 people to join here.

| Can I make a suggestion? As we all know there are some trouble-makers on CD who love to try to talk down to others and do personal attacks. IMO would be best not to invite them, let them find this place on their own, otherwise it will be the same cr*p as on CD. What do you think?

Wyoming 53 is from Wyoming. Live in a little cabin out along Tongue River. No phone, no cable, just a cell modem. Ody? Let me tell you about Wyody. His favorite hobby of Wyoming is to blow it up. To set a charge and then see if it tips over his pot. But he did it for a reason that I understand. He visited the Medicine Wheel. He visited my home country. He understands Wyoming and the Big Horns. But he's moved onto bigger and better things and is elsewhere at this time. Damnit. We need people like Wyody, that understands Wyoming. Wyoming is not an easy state to understand. We have areas that blow wind at 60mph every day. Ever lived in Hanna? We have areas that wind is not a function of everyday life. We have area's that people put straps on thier car doors so they don't get torn off. I am the only moderator and I have never infracted anyone. I've never edited a post. Why should I. We kind of moderate ourselves. We know right from wrong. Why should I intervene? Wyoming is not for the weak. But, Ody and I have lived it. From stem to stern. Edit - We could use more like Ody.

Another thing would be for the Administration to create profiles for cities and list information everything from housing to environmental to jobs and education. That "other" forum does.

| Good Morning skytrekker, No When the police arrived to take the report he told me that it would take about 3 days to process. They are looking for it just that I won't get the paperwork until then. I'm really not ready for it in hopes they do find it within the 3 days. I loved that car. For the size of it, it had a short axle which it wasn't hard to park it. I couldn't find any blind spots. It was just a dream to drive. Plus saving money in delivery fees. I asked the policeman if he thought it could be in Miami by now? He didn't think so, thought it could still be in Naples. I Hope...I Hope. This all happen in 5 hours. It was like a bad dream coming to life. |

Cops investigating car theft? Hmmm that's a new one by me. When I lived in Las Vegas for 10 years, they openly tell the press that they do not investigate car theft. If your car was stolen you have to go to station and they give you papers to fill out and have to pay $5 to hand them in. Your tax dollars at work. You are told there will be no active search for your car. If it ever turns up in a traffic stop they will confiscate it but other wise, they could care less. We used to climb the high mountians in the cooler months while hiking down by Lake Mead. There was the auto grave yard. People who could not afford the payments on their cars would just drive it out there and ignite it in flames. No fire trucks could or would go out there so they just burned till they were unidentifiable. There were about 25 newer vehicles out there all rusted out. |

I called the police station and they sent out a policeman. They investigate stolen vehicles around here. My friend had hers stolen in Delray Beach Walmart. It was a Pontiac most go to Haiti. It seems that they like pontiac cars. Another friend had her truck stolen and they think that it was used for drug running because of the mileage on it. When she settled and she received the insurance money a month later they found it not a scratch on it. A stolen vehicle around here is grand theft.
