I live in Texas and I'm 17. I live with my parents, but I don't get along with my dad. Everyday we usually argue and now it's gotten worse. I will be 18 in 6 months but I can't take all the arguements. I've heard at 17 you can legally move out, is that true? Please help me.

You could legally divorce your parents and move out, it might be costly.. However, if you could cite abuse, you would be out of there in a heartbeat. Just contact your local Texas Child Protective Services or the police and they'll help you get out of there.

18 is the legal age to move out in Texas. Your parents can still report you as a runaway at 17.
