In close proximity (5 min. radius) we have Anytime Fitness, Curves, a non chain private recreation complex, but I'd say the most popular around here would be the YMCA (for a family - keeping in mind the prices can vary - $55/to low $70 per month - depending on YMCA location - also financial assistance is offered if needed).

They are all over the board around here, Sky, in regard to costs. And then, as MM said, there are family prices.
My Curves is $39/month. The machines are computerized....swipe the key and it logs your progress, and there's a monthly weigh/measure session. They have free fresh towels, free hand sanitizers and free water (cups). Also, there's a t.v. in one corner and exercise videos for floor exercises, if we want. Plus, it's walking distance, or biking distance, from my home. I do my thing and leave, and don't even know anyone's name. I like it that way.

Gee, it seems rather pricey to me ladies and guyz. I go to a local chain--'Cardio Express'
I pay 10 dollars a month, plus 6% sales tax-comes to $10.60---monthly- cheap!

Yes, I guess it is a bargain- its clean, with lots of treadmills and bikes- many with TVs- there are free weights and machines. A very nice staff, and people of all ages.
