Default Cape Cod...Martha's Vineyard

These places have always been fascinating to me...although I've only seen pictures or movies. Are the people friendly there? Is it as pretty in real life as I think it may be?

I thought it was beautiful and I was young so everyone seemed really nice to me. One thing I really remember is boating at sunrise..that was really big with our friends. And I remember it so well because I AM NOT A MORNING PERSON! We stayed up really late and then were woken early to go have coffee and scones on the yacht... at some UNGODLY hour.. but it was really pretty.

I can relate very well! I'm nocturnal myself...but I'm sure it was worth the lack of sleep to view the sunrise! Thanks for the info. It's a place that I would love to see, someday. As soon as I win the lottery, I'm going to purchase a yacht and visit. My odds aren't good, though...haven't ever bought a ticket!

Now that we are back in the Northeast, I would also love to go to Martha's Vinyard and the Cape. My son's girlfriend lives in Malden Mass. so when we are up there someday, we will go and see the wonderful sunrise. That's if I am up at that time, I too am a night person.

Martha's Vineyard is beautiful, but very expensive. In 1998 a lobster dinner cost $30.00.

Wow that's pretty cheap! We have some steak houses in San Antonio that costs an average of $60 a plate.

It would be interesting to see how much a lobster dinner would cost on Martha's Vineyard.
