|  Sailing and sailboat racing as an extreme sport.....
It is amazing that sailboat racing is not as popular in this country as it is elsewhere. I have taken friends out just for a casual sail and they thought it would be going slow and lounging around while drinking beer, yet once we were out, they commented about how intense it all is. And when it gets blowing and you start heeling and water is pouring into the boat.... man, my wife freaks out everytime and starts screaming "we're going to die!!!". How big is your boat, can one person sail it . an how do they sail against the wind ?

Don't have a boat anymore as of an hour ago. Sold it!!!! We are in the market for a 28 footer. Our last boat was a 26 foot English twinkeeler
