WHALE! Thar She Blows!

So, this Sperm Whale washed up on the beach at Port Aransas - about 7 miles and a short ferry-hop from here. Dead I think - definitely wasn't living in the TV shots.
I didn't know they even had whales in The Gulf! Shucks, I didn't even know they had whales in the Atlantic this far south.
I hear another washed up a few years back.
Good thing I wasn't asea at the time ... altho some might say I'm asea all the time.
I recall the first time I heard "Song of the Whales" ... whilst mentally sailing on the Pacific ... didn't know the song had lyrics but I could make them out plain as day "Lemme go ... Lemme go ... Lemme go ... Blubber"
