Thumbs up I am a big North Texas Fan

Texas is really a great state. I am a Texan by choice, I moved here in the late 70’s and have lived in a number of places around the state. I originally moved to Houston. Great place for a young single guy in the early 80’s. Has had quite a bit of recent trouble with a pretty violent crime wave.

Then out to West Texas. Totally different than Houston in the east. Small border town with a lot of great views, many good people, but missing much of what we wanted regarding the raising of our son. Landed in the Dallas area and really love it. We are in the North Dallas area and aside from the heat being a bit much in the summer, couldn’t be happier.

Dallas has everything you would want in the way of arts and education, the economic outlook is quite good, housing is steady and a bargain compared to many, make that most parts of the country.

For those of you considering Texas, I would say you could do much worse. For those of you that have recently moved here I say, welcome home!

Wecome to our first Realtor.

I was considering Texas for my last move, but ended up in North Carolina.

T.S. - What persuaded you to go to NC as opposed to Texas? Just curious.
